Miss Friendship and Media Darling Awards for Bela Padilla in Asian Supermodel Contest in China

Remember Bela Padilla? The one who became hot in showbiz news and media for allegedly being the subject of jealousy by Marian Rivera. Yes, she won the Miss Friendship and Media Darling during the Asian Supermodel contest held in China last September 6-7, 2011.

At 5'6" in height, Bela won the Miss Friendship because she talked a lot with other contestants. She makes friends with them while others looked very serious and formal.

Bela Padilla is Aljur Abrenica's Leading Lady in Machete

Remember Bela Padilla? The one whom Marian Rivera had a rift in the soap opera Endless Love for allegedly getting jealous on Dingdon Dantes, Marian's real-life sweetheart?

Bela Padilla can't believe she is now the leading lady of Aljur Abrenica in Machete. "It still hasn't, you know, sunk in. I'm still in the 'is-it-really-happening-to-me' stage, said Bela Padilla.

Bela plays the role of Agnaya, the love interest of Aljur Abrenica who is the main character of the remake of this Filipino film Machete. Bela said she'll do her best to turn around the hate she got especially from Marian Rivera's fans. She'll do her best in her new project. Good luck Bela!

Closed-Door Meeting Ends Marian Rivera and Bela Padilla Rift

Heads of GMa 7 put a period of the rift between their two stars Marian Rivera and Bela Padilla through a closed door meeting. The two together with their respective managers meet with the SVP for Entertainment Wilma Galvante and according to the news, the two agreed to a more peaceful working relationship following the so-much publicize bathroom issue between Marian Rivera and Bela Padilla.

Marian and Bela did not talk anymore to reporters after their 15-minute close-door talk. Galvante told reporters that the two have decided not to give further interviews. She further said that the misunderstanding was just hyped by the press.

GMA Management official statement says "GMA Management met with all parties concerned surrounding the alleged issues that happened on the set of "Endless Love".

Waiting reporters outside Wilma Galvante's office surmised that Marianne Rivera might have asked an apology to Bela following the demand of Mommy Eva who threatened to go to court if Marianne Rivera won't apologize to Bela.

Marian Rivera and Bela Padilla War Heats On

Is it true that Marian Rivera Harassed Bela Padilla? Marian Rivera, the lead star of Endless Love reportedly got jealous with Bela Padilla and insulted and harassed her. In the soap opera Endless Love, Bela Padilla acts as the girlfriend of Dingdong Dantes who happens to be Marian Rivera's boyfriend in real life.

Claire dela Fuente, Bela's manager reportedly asked GMA-7 to protect Bela from Marian's insults and harassment. She narrated many incidents that Marian Rivera is making a hard time for the showbiz newcomer Bela Padilla. When Bela and Marian are on the set, Marian would tell to Bela 'Ang pangit-pangit mo! Ang bobo-bobo mo umarte! Hindi kita ka-level, huwag mo akong babatiin!' Marian told Bela in that comfort room incident, "Ang landi-landi mo! Ang pangit-pangit mo! Kahit kailan, huwag mong iiisipin na mai-insecure ako sa 'yo! Hindi ka magugustuhan ni Dingdong kasi diring-diri 'yan kapag may eksena kayo!'"

Marian Rivera in an interview said that she's not jealous with Bela and that they're not close friends nor enemies. Popoy Caricativo, Marianne's manager said that they are just using Marianne for publicity.

We don't know what really happens on the set. Hopefully, the truth comes out on who's really the victim and who's telling the truth on their ongoing rift.
